  Ascension Part 8: Rebirth
Posted by: Kyrios - 07-06-2016, 02:33 PM - Forum: Creative writing - Replies (3)

With Soiryk's heart cut out his blood mingled with the rain,
From the East Anelahk approached where soldiers stood,
To see him gasp, his wounds all close and he his feet regain,
Spied from the south by Axela drawn by the scent of blood.

The dragons roared and lightning crashed round Soiryk's dancing sword,
With soldiers felled a meeting, first and most auspicious,
Axela's sway and sultry look woke Soiryk's slumbering manhood,
When Anelahk stepped through the smoke he smiled surreptitious.

Sunlight pierced the roiling clouds upon this trio judicious,
Soiryk bowed and stowed his blade declaring them well met,
Anelahk, her hand held out, asked Axela; Are you with us?
Together they set out towards the bright sunset.

The morning after they made camp Soiryk slept like a stone,

  Mentor

(Tune in my head: John Adams - China Gates)

Many times have I been wrong
and stuck my foot inside my piehole --
but patient have you been so long
I cannot fathom you an Arsehole.

Explorer -- crafter -- architect
in worlds where I am circumspect
and gifted with the best of humor --
hence I regard you as a mentor.

Where I see a chaotic storm
you see the world with such a shrewd eye
including this sonnet in which I
imperfectly matched Pushkin's form.

Formidable is your wit -- and yet
the kindest cad I ever have met.

Hello guys, this is a quick thread about... Boobs!

We all have seen a pair of tits at least once and I'm sure a lot of people like those. So, there's a poll!

What do you prefer? And if you want, explain yourself.

PS: yes, I'm having fun with these

BTW: you can choose multiple choices.

  Ascension Part 7: Death
Posted by: Kyrios - 07-04-2016, 02:49 PM - Forum: Creative writing - Replies (4)

The dragon's wrought by Anelahk to crush the Emperor's throne,
Were not the last to lift their voice and cry against the dark,
Brave Soiryk stood and raised his eyes from his boy's headstone,
He turned his feet and took a step, his visage white and stark.

Drew his blade against soldiers of that demon patriarch,
Hundreds he slew til on that day his shield split apart,
And left him once more dying, from an arrow hit its mark,
That fateful night he met the witch and his new life did start.

She healed him and she gave him a shield marked with a heart,
He left her then most grateful to resumes his fateful quest,
His goal to seek revenge, then, at long last depart,
End the vile emperor then die and have his rest

The skies were dark when on the field of battle he was slain,

  Think Well
Posted by: Kyrios - 07-04-2016, 01:41 PM - Forum: Creative writing - No Replies

Wish that you could see,
The mistakes in your thinking,
Wish you'd understand,
There's a way to analyse,
That lets you split truth from lies.

Wish it didn't hurt,
That I show you were you're wrong,
Want only to help,
Thought I'd share with you my skills
There's a way to analyse.

Wonder if you know,
That I want the best for you,
Will share what I have,
The knowledge of how to learn,
Thought I'd share with you my skills.

When you ask questions,
The answer begins unknown,
When one is shown false,
This does not prove others true,
The knowledge of how to learn.

We'll take an idea,
I have with me a small bag,
It contains come coins,
Do you know the number odd?
No! This does not mean even.

It must be one such,
It's either odd or even,
Asked which you believe,
The correct answer's neither,
There's no evidence.

"I do not know that",
The most powerful answer,
Spur to new learning,
Do not accept simple lies,
Less wonderful than the truth.

Demand to see proof,
Doubt as freely as you wish,
In that is virtue,
There must be a true answer,
Does not make that answer known.

Ascension Part 6: Dawn of Dragons
Posted by: Kyrios - 07-04-2016, 11:50 AM - Forum: Creative writing - No Replies

Yet a faint hope kindled in Axela the Arcane,
Far away another toiled bending metal shaping wood,
In ruined Oficina hammer blows fell swift as rain,
Anelahk did labour as her rage swelled into flood

Not only did her hands engage in work toward the good,
Fed she her mind on stratagems to her plans nutritious,
Until the ways of war were carved deep in her heartwood,
Her mind a vault of tactics noble, clever and pernicious

Steam churned and smoke billowed on this field inauspicious,
One hundred men, a mailed fist, for one girl sure surfeit,
She cut them down with steel rain like thunder repetitious,
The ground drank imperial blood none could escape her net.

Roared for the first time that day on the field of bone,

  Imagine Yourself
Posted by: Chamy - 07-04-2016, 02:37 AM - Forum: Creative writing - Replies (7)

Imagine Yourself, what are you?
To you, maybe you are a piece of dirt
Or maybe, a cloud in the sky
But what you see doesn't mean anything sometimes
It's what others see you as
Me? I'm a star, the sun itself
Not because I'm powerful, but because I give life to those in need
I pick broken glass from the ground
I turn them into birds that are destined to fly
In the depths of the night, I'm called upon
And for a time, I am happy
Lust fills every corner in my mind
My dreams seem too real, like I could reach out and touch them
Voices whisper to me of my soon life
But then, the hand of the raven rips back into me
It tells me of my faults
I panic, mind no longer in light
Abuse is the word that utters from her lips
As is heard many times before from this raven
And no matter how hard you fix every complaint
The raven is set
Her eyes see disappointment
Dirt. Garbage. Why would they love someone like you
Yet you can not ignore the raven
For the raven is the reason for your life
It's as if Satan has pulled you from darkness to serve his evil deeds
What are you to do, but die?
I count my days
I count for days that I am free from its talons
Free from the world that the raven has made for me
Free from a suffering she has disguised as a plentiful garden
I've learned there is no garden
And the raven can not feed the world any longer
And that is why I'm being pulled under
Why the raven sees me this way
But I do not see me this way
I see what I see
And I see my own pain, my own suffering
Going weeks at a time without food
Rotting in the corner of the bed
Yet, still shines as the sun she is
For as much suffering I've been caused
I don't wish that upon anyone else
Imagine yourself
Then imagine me
What do you truly see?

Myself: I Wish That You Fool Me There
Posted by: Kyrios - 07-01-2016, 05:13 PM - Forum: Creative writing - Replies (2)

It's fine if you don't love me,
Its OK that you don't want me,
I just wish that you would hold me,
One last time.

Let me see that paradise you,
Let me feel in your embrace you,
Loved me once so let me hold you,
One last time.

Once more I want to be there,
Once if you want to be there,
Only in your arms, am I there,
One last time.

Veiled in my ignorance I,
Vexed you in your innocence I,
Very much desire you and want I,
One last time.

Every time I really thought that,
Each smile and kiss could mean that,
Each one held real love, I want that,
One last time.

You aren't to blame cause I'm a fool,
You never made of me a fool,
You could just let me be you're fool,
One last time.

Over and again I wish,
Of you to share your heart, I wish,
Only now you grant my wish,
One last time.

Unless I overstep myself,
Used to break my heart myself,
Undone I do submit myself,
One last time.

Just for everyone's information this is not about me, or how I feel about anyone. It's written for a friend about her feelings.
