The Rodeo is broken! Devs please fix it...

Hello all,

This has been mentioned in other threads, but the problem is getting worse... now whenever I play the rodeo mini-game, about 80% of the time the game suddenly ends and lists my time as 0:00.0, no matter what my actual score was. This is very frustrating as I rely a lot on this game to get some "pocket money" these days.

To anyone who experienced this and noticed that the game is increasingly "buggy", please post about your own experience (even if you already did elsewhere). If no one complains, it'll never get fixed...

P.S. I did the usual s#it below in the hope of fixing the problem, to no avail:

1) Cleared my browser cache and reloaded the game;
2) Tried the mini-game on different web browsers (all of which were fully up-to-date);
3) Tried the mini-game at different hours of the day and/or on different servers.

Just to test this, I have done a couple of rodeo runs, in the Wild West, using both of the Sanders Sisters.

For me at least, it worked well, no glitches, no bugs. The runs went really well, past the 50 seconds mark, at the end awarding me the 50$ that you win for that. What is indeed, increasingly strange, so to say, is the fact that it's much easier now to fall off the bull, if the bar reaches red, even if you get the girl centered again. But indeed, it happened to me before too.

It is possible, just like in the casino situation, to be luck based for different people.

As some keep winning the big prizes in the casino, I haven't yet got myself 3 BAR's.

But indeed, this is one of the little bugs and glitches that should be addressed.

It's NOT a matter of luck in this case - until about two weeks ago, I was able to play several rounds in a row (at least 6 or 7), all of which scored over 50 seconds (and earned me the maximum amount of money); whenever I "failed", I still always managed to stay at least 40 seconds in the saddle.

No, this is definitely a bug, and not bad luck.

This is probably the pessimist in me talking, but it's a bit of a coincidence that right as they roll out a 'pay real money for in game money' system and then studio apartments that suddenly the Rodeo and Casino don't wanna put out money steadily anymore.

I think proncain's comment is interesting - thinking back about it, it does seems the Rodeo started to go haywire some time after implementing the banking system... but let's not get (too) paranoid here. I'd rather give the devs the benefit of the doubt - at least, for a while longer.

Care to enlighten us (and by us, I mean those who don't have a Facebook or Twitter account) about this "rethinking process", Cath?

This is welcome news... for a long time now, I've always said this game lacks enough means of making money, and for male avatars this is definitely an uphill battle (male pole-dancing is way overdue). Add new mini-games please, and if possible games that don't rely purely on physical dexterity, but involve a bit of brain power instead... something like a quiz or puzzle of varying difficulty, perhaps?

The rodeo has never glitched and sent me back to 0:00, but if it is being a little laggy then I have noticed it will cut a few seconds off the top of my time. So 54 seconds will become 51 or so.

I've actually been having a lot of problems with the shooting gallery. It's been skipping entire scenes (like the first with the shotgun or AK-47) and then at the end instead of getting my money and the final dialogue it gives me a screen with Oksana holding money but no dialogue and I have to refresh the page to get back to MNFClub.

I've had both problems in the rodeo many times (cutting a few seconds and reseting to 0 seconds). But i've noticed that it only happens when i have some lag. And it is not a new thing,  it's been happening to me since months ago.

For me sometimes closing the browser and opening it again helps to get rid of the lag and the minigame works fine again.
