Economy balance discussion

So i took a bit of time here to make sure: it seems making 1 k on rodeo takes about 25 minutes. Pretty sure its the fastest way (and even stripping might not be as profitable as its been now that money is hard to come by, so i wont even make the m/f distinction)

So 5 k for 5$ doesnt seem too bad anymore, now that u did prevent alt farming.

But i d say there are still 2 problems:
- room price suddenly seems too high to me, it should at least be halved, because it shoudnt be an issue to get a room in a sex game. 
(-same for clothes prices)
- existing money is just ridiculous compared to what pple can make now. It should be divided and/or capped.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts(specifically directed to everyone that is making a big deal about it): Why do you care so much about why other people have more money? Does it really affect you how much money other people have? I have 4,000 dollars and I have friends with a couple million for each alt, why should I be begging the devs to redistribute the money, or by making the game "more fair" and cutting/capping his money. Rooms are $100-200, so that's 2-4 rounds of rodeo, how is that not affordable? 20 rounds of rodeo gives you 1k. Do that once a day for a week and you have 7k. With 7k you can host an auction with a 10-15% tax and make 25-50k in profits.... Yes some people farm, and others are true entrepreneurs...
If I really cared about making a lot of money, I would, but there is no need to have 1mill +, nor will there be in the near future...

By some wierd reason, I figure to buy 100K and I pay 100$ in real money.
Then next day DEVs decide to listen to your idea and delete 50K of mine IG money.

How do you think I would react?

Or I have 100K, that I have earned from minigames and strip. Now you might say, that money is/was easy to get from strip.....well you need to buy an outfit and you need to spend time stripping and there are no gurantie, that people, if any show up, actual give tip.

Again how do you think I would react?

I really don't care, how much money other people have. If I need some, I know where I can get some.

Now that alt farming is no longer possible, it has placed everyone on a equal footing.  As now everyone has to earn money the same way, and what's so bad with that..?

Yes, we still have the Mini-games.  Glory Hole and Rodeo (both of these have never been profitable for me), Shooting Gallery (I tend to make more money this this), Madam Olivia (relies on other people wanting pay to have sex with you, with house taking 50%), and the Slot Machines (if you're lucky, you can make money from your existing money).

And although I agree with the Devs for blocking alt farming, Farming did have a positive effect on the game, as there is at least $10,000,000,000 of in-game cash in circulation.

So how else can you make money?

Obviously this is a sex game, so selling yourself for a money is a pretty easy way to make money. 

• One easy way is to become an Escort, hire your services for a set time.  And no, this is not just for Girls, as I know about a dozen Guys who are Escorts (but I still know more girls who do this).
  

• The other way is to sell yourself at Auction for a minimum of 1 hour, to the highest bidder.  (Usually 20% will go to the house, & 80% to the seller)
  

Yes, there are a lot of scammer out there, who will take your money, and run.  But there are also a fair share of Clubs, who will arrange these services, who don't like a bad rep.

Well the current issue I see is that and I mean dome and or many will argue this but there's no consistent way of making money consistently.........yes there's the rodeo, glory hole, and shooting range to choose from to make money but there is 0 consistency in doing those minus maybe the rodeo, btw not mentioning the casino because I personally feel you lose more than you usually spend, again yes I realize if people take the time to this or that they can make money, but as I said it's not consistent nor are the amounts played out in some of the games done worthwhile, as a premium user I like to be able to buy all the outfits and have many variations of each add on hats and glasses and it all adds up, I'm not saying the whole thing of character alts needs to be brought back, on the contrary I'm glad that was done, but I do think WE the people need more and or better more consistent ways of making money fairly and honestly without really exploiting something like well all the character alts, because as it is rn the way it currently is lots of things are gonna be a pain in the ass to do, stripping will be somewhat irrelevant unless you just do it for fun, auctions are more or less screwed by this minus the people with lots of money, and new players get screwed over by not having any money at all anymore, again I agree something needed to be done but this..........idk seems like a bit too Mich before the game was really ready for this kinda change, just the way I'm seeing it and from responses from some friends PEOPLE ARE PISSED OFF and this could potentially ruin the experience for many

While I don't think dividing the money that people have is anywhere near a decent solution, I do wish to point out that MnF currently suffers an extremely inflated economy. And having such a gap between the 1% and the rest has never been a good thing, in any situation. So I would say that the concerns that carnacien raises are more than valid.

mikoha, I can assure you that we have no intention of taking ingame money from you, that you have paid for, and I assume carnacien meant money gained through exploiting the game.

Would be nice if ppl started seeing this as a game again and not just some social gathering.
There are games added to the game for ppl to earn money so they can do whatever they want.
Right now it's difficult for the devs to put a price on something cuz most players have to farm for it but others have enough money laying around to buy everything they want 10 times.
So I think it's good that the way ppl have to earn money now is the same for everyone.

i had a idea, i currently have 2 characters/profiles on my account and i want to get my mony from one account to the other,  they should add some sort of a bank account to easily transfer money between accounts

The Alt farm was a good thing to enjoying the game !
I play this game to relax, not to lost 1 hour with pamela or another unfunny mini-game to win 500$ ingame.
Moreover the new micro-transactions are really scandalous, 5000$ ingame for 5 real $ is a joke ! Dress costs 1000, Glasses 800 and VIP room 1200 for 2h....

I won't lost my time to try to win a few money...
This is a SERIOUS point for me to not renew my premium subscription...

First, thank you for all ur input, its very nice to get diferent perspectives on this topic !
Now my answers


@johnsins : the only reason i care about it is the auctions . This change has made an incredible gap now between the 1% (to take emmie's word) and the rest, which if the rich re smart , will simply never be closed. As for the rooms , maybe u re right that 2/4 rounds arent bad, but multiply it every day by 2 or 3 and i do think it s become a chore. That said, in my initial post i didnt realize that prem avatars still start with 1k, so using the 6th spot for farming does give u 1k a day, which seems decent pocket money now.

@mikoha : i absolutely agree if u paid for it, it certainly shouldnt get wiped/divided. Stripping , on the other hand, paid very well because money was easy for all, so while u may think u ve worked for it, it still was money tainted by alt farming from my point of view. 

@alexa : yes , everyone is on equal footing for making money, and thats a very good thing. But those having a big wallet now dont need to make any money, and that ll be true for a long time if they use it wisely. As for escort/auction, i know it very well but i think u dont realize that now that they turned off the tap, the money will be way scarcer everywhere, wether its auctions, johns or stripping. If i take my example, theres no way ill pay even 5k for an hour with anyone anymore at auctions, and i mostly feel the prostitution is distastefull in this game (fyi, i take auctions as matchmaking, not really a money matter). And i ll have to see what guys still can fetch on auctions, because i always felt most of what they got were pity bids. In a way i agree with u tough, i like the changes but i think the transition will be painfull , because those 10 billions in circulation are insane compared to the daily created money, which just got shrunk to 1% of what it was (and im being generous here)

@avax : totally agree with u, my view is it was a great change (sorry if i hadnt made it clear), but it needs a little tuning still so money is only an issue for the few who do care for it, which is why i made this post. People really need to make a difference between money creation and money transfer. Transfer isnt reliable, unless you transfer it from your own alts. And if i have to transfer money from alts, well that means the game economy is just off.

@emmie  : tks for seeing the problem. I dont see that many other solutions tough, only wait a while so the existing money is diluted (might take years tbh, considering the figures) or..... multiplying all game earnings by 10 ? (also multiply the cost of clothes by 5, and obviouly give 45 k more to the pple who actually bought 5k ig$ with rl cash else they ll feel scammed)


@kumori: very much agreed too, i just think pple who wanna play "normally" (ww and beach hookups) shouldnt have to care for money at all, while pple who wanna play to get the fattest bank account should be on equal footing. So yes, it must be hard to balance.


TL/DR killing alt farming=good. But need easier way to make money
