Based on my experience, a poll of 14 days or less on this forum produces 100 votes or less. In a game boasting 1 million users, lessthan 100 votes doesn't carry much weight.
Now you have 285 votes, so 0.0285% of users rather than 0.0100%. Not much weight in either case.
Also holding a poll for longer helps to invite people that don't visit daily.
If they only visit monthly, not even fortnightly, maybe their opinions should not carry that much weight.
Also have seen late comeback victories before
Yes, when you show current voting. I want C, don’t’ mind B but don’t want A. When I see C won’t win and A just above B, I vote B.
