It was used several centuries ago in England. A plaque was placed in a room/house with the abbreviations F.U.C.K (Fornications Under Consent of the King), it seems back then, when people wanted to have children they needed a special permission by the King

In the English language it's a very modern thing, some say wwI others wwII, but... there are some exceptions, one of them "OK" other "n.g."
