A Spring's dream

Here's a piece I came up with yesterday evening, wasn't doing anything too interesting and felt like writing something so this is the result. I written this one in my native language because I didn't want to think in english (yeah, I was in my bed, lazy as hell so) but I'll post the english version down too. And I later noticed that it also kind of makes a summary of some of my other works here xD. Hope you all like it.

Acordei de um sonho de Primavera
As grandes árvores de cerejeira, carvalho e amendoeira
Mostram as suas vivas cores e o seu belo dançar que tem o vento como companheiro
Criando um espectáculo único, reconfortante
Semelhante ao melhor fogo de artifício imaginável

Ainda ocupado com o conhecimento das coisas e seres
Deleito-me com uma caneca de chocolate quente
Que me preenche o espírito e aquece o coração
E espero por bons momentos
Por boa companhia

Uma bela tarde passada debaixo de um par de cobertores
Sabe tão bem quando passado em boa companhia
A ver um bom filme ou apenas num simples abraço
Um sonho de Primavera
Que parece ser periódico


I woke up from a spring dream
The large cherry, oak and almond trees
Show their lively colors and their beautiful dance that has the wind as a companion
Creating a unique, comforting show
Similar to the best firework imaginable

Still busy with the knowledge of things and beings
I delight myself with a mug of hot chocolate
That fills my spirit and warms my heart.
And I hope for good times.
For good company

A beautiful afternoon spent under a pair of blankets
It feels so good when you spend it in good company
Watching a good movie or just wrapped in a simple hug
A spring dream
That seems to be periodic
