Every location on the Map (excluding Meadows Park) has a business.
So why not let everyone invest money on up to 3 businesses via the Bank.    We can invest as much as we wish, plus a transaction fee of $100.  The best performing business earn players money & the least performing loose players money.  
Also... a business on one server such as the Hats & Caps store on Beaver Bash would be classed as a separate business to the Hats & Caps store on Tight Lipped.  So the value would of the stock may be lower for the store on Tight Lipped, so there is a chance you could make more profit for lower priced stock.

This is a really interesting idea, but I think y'all have no idea just how long this would take to code. It took the devs quite a bit to implement the casino and bank, this is simulating an actual economy. That's stuff that only games with tons of resources (GTA V and World of Warcraft) can have without a problem. Even games like Fallout and Skyrim don't have actual economies like that.

This would be way too hard to expect the devs to code, especially for a mostly free game. It wouldn't be fair to ask them to make something as intricate as this.
