Salary for Game Mods

Why don't you just use the mods that don't charge any money? I mean I think the mods that charge just want another mod to do it (since they are preoccupied with other things), more so than the need of money...

I hope this didn't sound "anti-mod,"  The last thing that needs to happen is the devs looking for new people willing to work for free, to replace the current team...
