Hey folks! I'd like to remind everyone that the most important sentence in the rules as they stand now is this:
"Free speech is supported - abuse is not."
We expect discussion to be heated at times. But at no point are personal attacks ever warranted on these forums. I've seen a number of people complaining about how they got banned in-game with some very nasty comments, and I have this advice for you if you're considering posting a rant like those:
Do not do this.
The Support email at team.mnfclub@gmail.com should always be your first stop if you're banned. Even if the ban was totally out of line, going on a tirade on these forums will only get you banned here. We allow only one place to speak about in-game bans on this forum, and that is the Account Ban thread.
If you post anywhere else about your bans and how you think they're unfair, this will result in a thread/post deletion and at least a warning. If you do this again, or question a forum mod's decision regarding a deletion, you will be banned. As stated in the account ban thread above, you may also PM a forum mod for information. However, if you insult, harass or otherwise annoy an in-game or forum mod here, you will be warned or banned; likely the latter.
Also, since people seem to think they can get away with this... another reason not to post about your bans?
Lying about a ban reason will ALWAYS get you banned.
Not only does that create a firestorm of people for/against the ban, it's a doubly pointless flame war because the reason being discussed had nothing to do with the ban! We're not top-tier mods like those Blizzard folks, but we're not stupid. Don't do it.
Only 12 people have been banned for reasons other than spamming on this forum as of 11-16-2016. We're fairly easy-going for such an active player base. Disagreements happen. Discussion is welcome. Disrespect is not.
Please don't add to that list.
