The Challenge
Cherish this peace we should
But some say we won't
Can you change that
Can we make this a wonderfull world

New rules:
Villanelle (doesn't have to rhyme, just same format)

Theme is Glory
On to victory
Our homeland will be reclaimed
Honour and glory

Bloody and gory
The final battle awaits
On to victory

They'll tell our story
In taverns and banquet halls
Honour and glory

Let loose your fury
Set free the pain from the past
On to victory

Come, everybody
Fight for your home, family
Honour and glory

Our territory
Is soon to be ours again
On to victory
Honour, and glory!
To you, we give all glory,
Oh great and powerful lord,
We put forward your story,

Though some may say its gory,
And some claim you're a fraud.
To you, we give all glory,

Though all these tales are hoary,
And no longer leave us awed,
We put forward your story,

Say that it's allegory,
If they seem to be appalled.
To you, we give all glory,

Out of fear of your fury,
Your holy righteous sword.
We put forward your story,

Though claimed that you're a bully,
That ought to be ignored,
To you, we give all glory,
We put forward your story.

I have heard tales of glory,
Of killing and of war,
Offer such a powerful story,

Though some may say its gory,
That you're preying on the poor,
I have heard tales of glory,

That soft men in their fury,
Ask that their country you adore,
Offer such a powerful story,

Now whether you're a tory,
Or the king of new labour,
I have heard tales of glory,

With assumptions a priori,
Of how to use a soldier,
Offer such a powerful story,

Though they're dead, you're not sorry,
'Cause you knew what was in store,
I have heard tales of glory,
Offer such a powerful story.

I have climbed to the mountaintop
and met you here to celebrate --
I'll pound your ass until we drop.

Such a picturesque backdrop
worthy enough to venerate --
I have climbed to the mountaintop.

You know I love the way you bob.
I see the way you undulate --
I'll drill your ass until we drop.

After so much time bottled up
Waiting long to ejaculate --
I have climbed to the mountaintop.

You'll think you're in a machine shop --
and don't think I exaggerate --
I'll ream your ass until we drop.

I'm nowhere near ready to stop
for I have hunger yet to sate --
I have climbed to the mountaintop --
I'll breed your holes until we drop.

It's been nearly two weeks... Anybody want to set some new rules?
What is home?
A place, a space,
Something made of stone?
Somewhere the difficulties you don't face?

My home is the earth,
It's where I breath,
It's where mom gave birth,
My home is where I rest.

A home, is like someone's mind.
It changes all the time.
It can be made of anything.

My home is like my mind.
It's made of everything.
But changes sometime.

Because I don't want it to be the last post here.
Let's see the bright sight of this world!
The lights are off -- the cupboards bare
Not a stirring can be found
Except the steps of my own feet
Wandering through this empty hall.

Where is the hearth stoked with logs?
Where is the feast on this table?
Where are all the grateful guests
To share this phantom soiree with?

I have just arrived within
These walls so full of potential.
They have not been hallowed yet --
I must give them time. And love.

I will bring in some life yet
Although foraging is a chore --
For with no risk comes no reward --
Per aspera ad astra.

(Tune in my head: Pending.)

One day I awoke to her
Kicking the walls of our cell.
I did not like my shackles much --
And she hated all those walls.

Since then -- a long time ago --
She helped me love my shackles --
They are a sign of freedom
Within the prison we shared --

I gave a blueprint in return
Drafted over a lifetime
So she would know where the walls
Were easiest to break down.

We played lots of silly games
I never won -- except when
I surprised someone I thought
Had seen so much more than me.

Then there were the darker days.
Those were days we could not see
How similar we both were
In our struggles and triumphs.

My cell-mate wanders often --
I simply cannot follow.
But I am always happy
Whenever I see her back.

She is happy too.
How do I know this?
She is my sister --
She always will be.

Sad that it has come to an end...
Let's see the bright sight of this world!
