I bought Oxenfree and Fallout New Vegas a few days ago (recieved a backpayment from my student loan so I had some extra money, and I've been bored out of my mind lately).
Oxenfree was pretty intense. I have a thing for really story rich choices mater style games and Oxenfree's been the first in a while that seemed worth playing. I got an..interesting ending (No ta bad ending at all, unlike Life is Strange, which I still hate because of it's shit ending). I liked it alot and I'm still chewing over my choices, but I probably got the best ending I could have.
I got Fallout New Vegas because I've been playing Fallout 3 a bunch lately because I've been bored out of my mind lately. I'm not really a Fallout fan. I don't even think Fallout 3 is that great a game, I just bought it ages ago on sale for about $2.50 with no DLC, but New Vegas is defenitley alot better. Much more life than the original, which didn't have anything that really made it come alive, you know?

Fallout NV was probably the best RP experience for me as far as Bethesda games go. You could meet random people here and there, etc. Sadly Fallout 4 is more about going around killing stuff, and less about meeting new people. I still like it a lot! But many things could've been made so much better.
Soon nuka world for Fallout 4 will come out, which is the last dlc, that lets you become a raider. So I'm hyped about that. Deus Ex Mankind Divided comes out in a couple of weeks as well. I've started playing some swtor with people I met on BDO, which is exciting. And I bought an oculus rift. First thing I tried was a VR experience thing with sharks and stuff. Which was cool. Then porn. Which was kinda meh... But I'm sure there will come better porn for VR soon enough, or I just didn't look enough.

It probably says alot how most of the steam reviews for Fallout 4 are just links to Fallout New Vegas

So... Fallout New Vegas is more recommendable than the fourth? For the interaction part, right?
Let's see the bright sight of this world!

I'd assume it's cause Fallout NV is more of an RP, and Fallout 4 is more of a FPS. Both have aspects of each. They just lean more one way or the other. Also, there's a lot of people who dislike that the protagonists are voiced... Which makes no sense to me, cause I loved that. >_>
So it's all down to personal opinion. If you love RPGs like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Witcher, Baldurs Gate and so on, Fallout NV is a better choice. BUT! If you've already played Fallout NV, and if you like Fallout games in general, there's literally no reason why you shouldn't try out Fallout 4. I love Fallout NV btw! I just don't believe that you can compare the two based on wanting them to be the same game, when they aren't... <_<

Falluot 4 is still fairly new too, so it'd probably cost you about $60 to get, plus a next gen console or a chunky gaming laptop. I got New Vegas for $6 on my good-but-not-perfect laptop, so there's that too

People dislike FO4 being voiced because it took *SO* much out of the character choice. Fallout had a fanbase built on the RPG choices and interactions, and especially on the fourth main game of a series (which was advertised to be better than the previous installations in these RPG aspects)... People have all the reason in the world to be angry about it, and all the right to have expected an RP-focused game over a shooter with VATS.

People have no right to be angry, developers have a right to work with what they want. And I felt like the voice added to the immersion for me. Do I agree it went away from the RP experience that I enjoy? Yeah. And I'm not against voicing complaints about it. But when reviewing a game, you can't just say "It's not Fallout NV." I'm not defending the lack of RP in the game. I am saying I enjoyed the game a lot despite the fact, and I don't care for QQ cause the developers wanna try new things. They're not slaves, they have a right to do what they want to. Ofc, that doesn't mean people can't dislike the result, being critic is important as well.
Anyways! Deus Ex Mankind Divided soon! Much hype!
