We finally meet after all this years
We finally see each other once again
After all this time, after all the storms, after all the pain
We get to hold each other tight in a lovers embrace
I can't hold back anymore, I cry like a baby for that smile
You kiss me like the moment was getting lost
I could finally tell you all the things I had kept safe inside
And you could finally hear and see my inner mind
I remembered how we had said our goodbye
You certainly didn't give up on us
You've given me the time to ponder
And I'm grateful for it
For I found my better half in you
