Ascension Part 11: Jealousy - Kyrios - 07-18-2016
When Anelahk's dragons barked, Soiryk's blade flew in his hand,
Imperial soldiers bled as her art she did refine,
Through battles roar, Anelahk saw, new devices she planned,
Her mind never stopping nor her hopes resign.
Each time they took the field she unveiled a new design,
Working with Axela's magic to make battle plans sublime,
Though on the woman's arrogance she chose not to opine,
Or her attempts to seduce Soiryk clearly pantomime.
As they carved their bloody path the land bloomed into springtime,
Anelahk honed her craft with effort and hard work,
Watched Axela lounge and laugh, her laziness a crime,
Though when they took the field together could they smirk.
Soldiers broke when they approached each challenge they shot down,
