Ascension Part 1: Empire - Kyrios - 06-28-2016

The Empire was vast, its shadow long and dark,
People cowered in fear before imperial might,
None could raise a hand, the terrible truth stark,
Bent, tired and broken they stared into the night.

One last spark of hope remained, shone defiant, bright,
A country proud and fearless, last of its kind,
Aldan stood alone against the enclosing night,
Stood and held her borders paying fear no mind.

To free the people out they strode, not to look behind,
Challenge sent, the cry went up that they would stand,
Aldan marched to battle on behalf of all mankind,
Imperial force would never take this land!

Empire reached out its hand, bright Aldan did fall
The land cried for a hero, none answered the call.

RE: Empire - Cath - 06-28-2016

I had an orgasm reading it!

RE: Empire - Kyrios - 06-28-2016

That is both lovely praise and disturbingly twisted. *Applauds*

RE: Empire - Cath - 06-28-2016

Er... I mean the reading was orgasmic. I didn't came from reading that! (>_<°)

RE: Empire - Emmie - 06-28-2016

No take backs!

And also, I assume this is related to the roleplay as well. I'm sure there should be something about "fire" in there. In a not so distant future... >_>

RE: Empire - Kyrios - 06-28-2016

Yeah it is Emmie, though this is another of the tavern songs telling of a distant past.

RE: Empire - Emmie - 06-28-2016

Ah, ok. Then I accept the lack of fire! \o/ And I'm looking forward to the next session!

RE: Empire - Barbiesque - 06-28-2016

So...when does it strike back?

*ba dum tss*

*drops mic*

*runs*

RE: Empire - Cath - 06-28-2016

Get over here! *throws a chain*

RE: Empire - Kyrios - 06-28-2016

*sighs* As it won there's little need for it to strike back Tongue
