RE: Gaming! Discussion - Sasso - 12-12-2016 Oh I should have been clearer, yeah they're Pokemon games but they're not "Pokemon games" you know? They're not the main titles they're the spin offs. Discussion - Sasso - 12-13-2016 Switch is basically a handheld anyway! RE: Gaming! Discussion - Sasso - 12-19-2016 Major updates on three of my favourite games happened today, Runescape, Age of Empires 2 and The Long Dark Runescape received a new quest called Sliske's Endgame. It's a very lore heavy quest that I'm exited to play as son as I get back home this afternoon. In Runescape I LOVE quests, so I'll defenitley do this one asap. There's not much I can say about the quest itself without getting into the story behind Runescape, which either you know or you don't. But anyway, here's a link to the news post http://services.runescape.com/m=news/sliskes-endgame--frostworld-part-2?jptg=ia&jptv=community_news And the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2s5epRi4rM Over in Age of Empires 2, they just released a brand new expansion on Steam! Age of Empires 2 was first released in 1999, but a few years ago got an HD re-released on steam, making it far more accessible to players today. I've always been a massive fan of this game, I've made that clear before, and I'm so pumped I bought it as soon as I had the money. Since it's re-re;ease on steam they've made three new expansions for the game. The Forgotten was the first one, which had some good civilizations (Italians, Indians, Slavs and Madgyars) but its campaigns really weren't that exciting and some civs were quite underwhelming (Indians). The second new expansion was African Kingdoms, which was amazing. The campaigns were better and the new civilizations (Malians, Ethiopians, Portuguese and Berbers) were all fun to play and very powerful. The new expansion, Rise of the Raja's adds 4 more civilizations (Burmese, Khmers, Vietnamese and Malay) and new fully voiced campaigns that defenitley look promising. Will update when I get to play but so far it looks good. http://store.steampowered.com/app/488060/ Also, I loved the guy in the comments on Steam saying "Why did we get more Asian civilizations?? We already have the mongols and Indians!" Like, man....the'yre totally different....that's like saying why did you add a Polish civilization we already have the Spanish.... Have you had enough updates? WELL I THINK NOT! SURPRISE, THE LONG DARK JUST WAS UPDATED TOO. I wasn't expecting this update. I've been waiting on the other two for weeks then this one just jumped on me from a bush. It's been a while since I've seriously played The Long Dark but the latest update added a brand new area looks really challenging, reworked the clothes system and has added a ton more to do in the game. The Long Dark is my favourite sandbox survival game, and I'll check this one out and start a new game after I've finished the other two updates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHK7nfv9dRM&t=0s So that all happened over night while I was sleeping. I've got plenty now to tide me over until the new year. RE: Gaming! Discussion - Allyn - 12-22-2016 thats cool but unforunatley never played those games haha XD RE: Gaming! Discussion - Emmie - 12-22-2016 I've watched a friend play The Long Dark, which looked cool, but the lack of coop makes it unplayable for me. RE: Gaming! Discussion - Cath - 12-22-2016 It's looks promising tho. RE: Gaming! Discussion - Sasso - 12-22-2016 Also Steam Christmas sale starts today. Let me know if you find any good deals RE: Gaming!
