This topic's been dormant for a while, so let's change things up!
Any form, the subject is winter!
When all the world around you is covered in snow,
Remember that in time life will once again grow.
Winter can level a garden in merely hours
Leaving fallow ground where there were once fields of flowers.
How do trees survive the winter from year to year?
They retreat into the soil to the roots they know.
Winter always comes again year to year
Sometimes early, sometimes late, but never a thing to fear
for trees that have seen winter know it does not last
And in time new warmth will once again melt the snow.
Winter can be light or harsh, but it does not last
As the future always leaves behind the past.
And so the trees weather it all and await the hours
When they can awaken from sleep, perchance to grow.
Remember that in time life will once again grow
When all the world around you is covered in snow.

But.. No

Have too much to say
Resulting in denouement
Ending too far away
And sometimes glories
Deserve a timely detente.
Circling backwards once again
Lets new stories begin
Once again when a new hero
Sallies forth seeking a win.
